In our welcoming market-town setting, members run their own groups on everything from art and history to badminton, crafts, and much more – no exams, no pressure, just fun and shared enthusiasm.
Whether you're eager to try something new, enjoy good conversation over coffee, or simply connect with like-minded people nearby, there's a place for you here.
Why not come along to one of our relaxed Open House mornings or take a look at the Groups page to see the full range of activities? We'd love to welcome you!
We now have more than six hundred members of retired and semi retired people. We come together to learn, laugh and live. Our volunteers manage more than 40 interest groups and classes, and we also run a weekly ‘OPEN HOUSE’ every Wednesday at Wilfred House, Carter Street, Uttoxeter, ST14 8EY which starts at 10a.m. and is open until 11.30a.m, to which members and non-members are welcome.

You might be new in town or newly retired, and Uttoxeter u3a might be just what you are looking for. Our annual membership fee is only £10 per person, and all our classes/activities and groups are available at just £2 per session. For more information of our activities and interest groups, call in to chat with us at OPEN HOUSE, at Wilfred House on any Wednesday from 10a.m. until 11.30a.m. Look for our team who will be wearing blue lanyards.
