Groups

New Groups:

Further Maths - this new Group will be starting on Thursday 16th April. If you would be interested, please contact Jenny Lingham - details are on the Group webpage, below.

Uttoxeter u3a Soul Collective - This new "Northern Soul" Group will be starting on Tuesday 7th April in the Craft Room at Wilfred House. If you are interested, please contact Russ Whitehurst - details are on the Group webpage, below.

Group activities generally take place during the day. In most cases a £2 fee is payable for each session - any change to this is identified on group pages. For insurance purposes, to attend a group you must be a member of Uttoxeter & District u3a, and you are welcome to attend a "Taster session" free of charge to find out if it is for you - please contact the group leader for further details.

Waiting Lists - occasionally a Group may be full, as noted on that Group's page: if so, please ask the group leader to put you on a waiting list.

New Groups - If there is something you are good at and could spare the time to teach others by organising a group (or you could help run a group), please contact our Group Leader Liaison Officer Jenny Lingham by clicking on her name, or speak to her at Open House on a Wednesday. You will be given every encouragement and support - it is not difficult, is very rewarding, and a good way to expand your circle of friends.

Groups are also open to members of the other local u3a's in the "Staffordshire Link" - Cannock Chase u3a, Cheadle u3a, Stafford u3a, Stoke-on-Trent South u3a (Longton) and Stone u3a. Members of these u3a's may attend our groups (if group numbers permit) for £2 per session payable to the Group Leader.
