We have restarted our outings for 2026 - see below. New members are welcome. E-Bikes are welcome.
Is anyone interested in ‘fair weather cycling’? We are a Group of eleven members at present, so new members are welcome. We cycle around the Staffordshire countryside avoiding the main roads as much as possible, with a meet up place to suit the group. Conditions need to be dry & not too windy, so consequently we tend to decide our rides ‘on the day’.
Rides tend to be Tuesdays or Thursdays but if members are willing, weekends are an option. - and either 10:00-12:00 or 14:00-16:00 depending on the weather. Each ride will be confirmed on the day.
We had a nice ride this morning, 18 March. Bramshall Park into Stamshall via Dove Way, along the back roads to Rocester. Pit stop at the café in the centre of Rocester. Then round JCB lake and back along the B5030 avoiding the A50 via Dove Way, across town and finishing where we started at Bramshall Park. 14 miles and easy going mostly on the flat.
I will let you know when we are going to ride next. Ideally once a week, weather permitting.
