Following a successful first get-together on March 25th, a follow-up meeting has been arranged for Tuesday 7th April, 10.00am – 12.00pm at Wilfred House. This will be an opportunity for members to get to know one another better and continue shaping the direction of the group.
As with all u3a groups, a strong social and community element is key, and this will be central to the group’s development.
At this session, there will be music, some discussion of dance moves, and an introduction to potential events the group could attend. Members are very welcome to bring along any ideas or suggestions—your input will help shape the group.
For those interested in exploring events further afield, Soul Source website provides a comprehensive listings guide, with regular events in Uttoxeter, Rugeley, Burton, Derby, the Potteries, Hednesford, Cannock, Stafford, Wolverhampton and beyond.
It is hoped that the group will attend some of these events together.
