Come and try it out, bet you'll be back. Lesley Law.

Rusty Voices take us through our paces with songs from several decades. No musical dots, just voices, friendship and fun.

This popular Group which meets at 11a.m. on Fridays at the Heath Community Centre was set up for those whose singing voices had become 'rusty', partly through lack of use and partly because they'd been told that they couldn't sing. We sing from word sheets, no knowledge of 'musical dots' required. We sing an eclectic mix of songs; old songs, new songs, folk songs and blue songs, rounds and harmonies. Why not join us for a good singalong, always here to welcome new members.

Always open to new songs being introduced, we mainly sing for ourselves, but have been known to venture into care homes to be received by a captive audience. A song and a smile make so many people feel brighter. We have room for more members who may wish to stretch their cords too, no auditions, no need to read music (as we don't use any), just come along and join in. No pressure, just singing for the fun of it to lubricate our vocal chords and aid our respiration.

There is always room for more aspiring 'Rusties' to join us.
