This is a visit to DERBY CATHEDRAL where we will have a guided tour of the inside of the building and information about its history. The tour will take place during the morning, but you may wish to stay in Derby and visit the nearby MUSEUM OF MAKING which is a very interesting, interactive museum and features the hundreds of items made in the city over the years (the museum has a cafe where you could have lunch).

It is quite easy to go by train… ask me about the Wayfarer ticket for seniors which costs £11.70 if you have a Senior Railcard which you are likely to be asked to produce on the train. Without a railcard, an off peak return might be cheaper.
