Our u3a Solos Group is largely people who have been bereaved; widows, widowers, but also spinsters and bachelors, and those who have a partner at home who doesn't like to socialise. We are a very inclusive group and many people within the group have made good friends.

         Basically we come together to socialise, so that we no longer have lonely lunches at home, or sit with a newspaper over coffee. These photos show some of our members enjoying the delights of a Marsh Farm lunch, we are a very chatty bunch. Our photos show the pleasure of dining at Marsh Farm.

        We have coffee meet ups every alternate Saturday at the Hart (where we make use of the u3a's 10% discount): our members like lunches and evening dinners, in fact our members are definitely attracted to food! But we also plan theatre trips, garden visits, cheese and whine events, in fact,  anything we fancy.
