At its meeting on Wednesday 18th March the Uttoxeter & District u3a Wine Discovery Group met at Wilfred House for its regular monthly meeting. The hosts presented a selection of six wines from a range of Portuguese regions, accompanied by carefully chosen food pairings to complement the wines. The wines were very well received, and members commented positively on their quality and variety. Many indicated that they would actively look to purchase Portuguese wines in the future.
There is the usual u3a attendance fee of £2, plus a small contribution of £2 for the food.
Wines are provided free of any charge, as described above.
